It is such a joy to know that you’re interested in being part of the family of Oued Laou. This is a municipality in the north of Morocco on the Mediterranean coast and has been a fertile land for the service that the NGO Compromiso International Solidario has been carrying out through social projects for many years, allowing us to see how many of the children going through multiple economic difficulties have been forced to leave their studies. With the mood of being
intentional and being able to open the range of opportunities to reach many of these children through the love of God, the school sponsorship program begins, with the vision of improving the physical and emotional condition of life of these little ones.
The small school of Arnouri in Oued Laou houses to date 214 elementary students with divided shifts due to lack of space. The current building is not its own and, although we know that it is up to them to maintain it, the NGO has been responsible for improving the school environment. Through our projects, wonderful links have been made with children and the community itself.
Part of our goals is to be able to sponsor these 214 children and make improvements to the infrastructure of their educational center, providing programs such as children’s dining room, pedagogical help, facilities of recreation and technological areas.
We appreciate your interest in being part of this wonderful sponsorship plan. We work on long-term projects in order to improve the living conditions of children and their families.
What will be done with it?
Your contribution allows us to carry out the sponsorship of a child to continue studying.
What does the child receive?
The child receives your contribution directly and in its entirety to cover feeding, studies and health expenses.
How long does it last?
The sponsorship lasts as long as the child is at school, so we encourage you not to abandon sponsorship because without it the child could not continue his studies.
By sponsoring a child you will be part of that family, so you commit not only in the economic aspect, but also spiritually.
